Global parcels giant FedEx has begun direct services between the United States and Auckland.
The Memphis-based logistics company says the weekly service will help boost trade in some of New Zealand's most important markets.
FedEx says it will be the first express transportation service to fly directly to this country from the United States.
New Zealand customers shipping from the US on a Friday will be able to get delivery on the Monday.
