Ewen Macdonald has appeared in the Palmerston North District Court this afternoon.
He was acquitted of the murder of his brother in law Scott Guy earlier this month.
He was appearing in court today in relation to a number of charges he pleaded guilty to including arson, vandalism and deer theft.
The Crown and Macdonald's defence have applied to have the matters dealt with in the High Court by trial judge Justice Simon France.
He has been remanded in custody to reappear in the High Court at Palmerston North on the September 14.
