The man accused of carrying out the Colorado gun massacre was recently denied membership at a gun club.
James Holmes is on suicide watch ahead of his first court appearance accused of shooting dead 12 people and injuring another 58.
He apparently hasn't shown any remorse, and the 24-year-old's been spitting at guards at his cell door
Reporter Emma Dallymore says just a month ago Mr Holmes had applied for a membership at a gun club. The owner of that club called James' home and when he did he got, in his words, a weird creepy Batman inspired voice message.
