It looks like the Aussie government could be taking a leaf out of our book, and sending young people on the dole to an army style boot camp.

It's part of new policy being considered by the Kevin Rudd's government.

The Youth Start Boot Camp, aimed at imposing strict disciplinary regimes, would target early school leavers aged between 15 and 21.

It is believed the idea could be a possible vote winner for the Government.
