Paris is the destination of the week for Trade Minister Tim Groser, who will join his counterparts from over 40 countries at the annual OECD Ministerial Council.
Mr Groser says the meeting is an important opportunity to discuss trade and economic issues.
He says the OECD's expertise is particularly relevant for governments seeking to improve long term growth as the world moves on from the financial crisis.
While in Paris, Mr Groser will also attend a series of business events and meetings to promote trade and investment links between New Zealand and France.
