Rural confidence has taken another tumble, according to the latest Rabobank survey.
Almost 36 per cent of farmers predict they’ll be worse off over the next 12 months, up from 27 per cent recorded last quarter.
Rabobank New Zealand boss Ben Russell says low commodity prices and the high Kiwi dollar have left some farmers feeling gloomy about the future.
But he says despite the fall, many farmers think they’re in a good position to weather the next year.
