Whole milk powder (WMP) exports are up 42 per cent on 12 months ago.
The rise has boosted WMP exports for the first half of the year by 2.6 per cent.
Exports to Venezuela and the United Arab Emirates are up, with more than 50,000 tonnes sent to both countries this year.
China continues to be New Zealand’s largest export market, despite importing 4 per cent less WMP than a year ago.
