Why does Farmingshow.com need a Privacy Statement?
Farmingshow.com is a wholly owned subsidiary of The Radio Network (NZ) Ltd, (see About Us). When we ask you to Join us we ask about personal information so we can send you information that are relevant to your interests. At Farmingshow.com we take privacy and confidentiality seriously. The information you submit is not stored via a secure server (as there are no credit card transactions taking place) - refer below on how we protect your data. By joining us you'll receive our weekly e-mail newsletter, the "Straggle Muster." It contains a wealth of farming information and advice from the people who star on the Farmingshow every weekday.
What information do we collect? How do we use it?
When you Join Us we need to know amongst other things your name, address, and e-mail address so we can send you the Straggle Muster each week. At ANYTIME you can choose not to receive information from us just by sending us an e mail and asking us to remove you from our database.
How do we protect your personal information?
When you register with us the information is stored in a database that is held in a secure location on our server. Only key members of our team have access to this information. We don’t share access to this information or sell it to anyone. Furthermore, we routinely check our security to ensure all of the information we collect is protected against unauthorised access.
What about "cookies"?
Cookies are small pieces of data used by web servers to help identify web users. We do not require the use cookies on our site.
Will Farmingshow.com give or sell the information it collects to others?
We do not and will not sell or give your personal information to anyone. Simple as that. If we ever decide to sell information in the future we will ask you for your written consent. Farmingshow.com may release information when we believe, in good faith, that such release is reasonably necessary to (i) comply with the law, (ii) enforce or apply the terms of any of our user agreements or (iii) protect the rights, property or safety of Farmingshow.com, our users, or others.
How can I see, update and modify my information?
Just send an e-mail to mail@farmingshow.com and we will send the information via e-mail to the address you supplied on registration or via post if you prefer.
How do I unsubscribe or cancel my membership?
Simply send us an e mail from the address you are subscribed to, put UNSUBSCRIBE in the “Subject” line and we will remove you from our database and confirm when this is done.
We are committed to protecting your privacy. We do not sell or rent your personal information to others. If we ever decide to in the future we will ask you for your written consent.
